Challenge
Branded headwear is a campaign staple, but once the event ends, most caps and beanies end up in landfill. Mixed materials also make them hard to recycle. We set out to change that, designing headwear that’s fully recyclable at end of life, without sacrificing style or quality.
Action
Redesigning every detail using RPET fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles and 100% recycled embroidery thread, every component chosen for easy disassembly and full recyclability. With a simple take back scheme via on site collection points, returned headwear was securely shredded to protect brand integrity, then recycled by certified partners into new yarns, insulation and products, keeping materials in circulation and out of landfill.
