Now is the ideal time to say thank you. Show your appreciation with a virtual events ceremony to thank the amazing staff that have supported the company through difficult times.

Escape Rooms, much like everything else have moved online – but they’re still guaranteed to be just as exciting and great for team building. There are plenty of last-minute options out there so do some research and let a world of puzzles and surprises entice you.
Festive Karaoke and the (Festive) Hit List
Most people love a festive singalong – plus singing can help boost mood and morale. You can take this a step further and turn it into a game. Much like the BBC’s game show the Hit List, people can work in teams to guess what festive song is playing, as well as the artist. Who will guess first?
Recreate a scene from a Christmas film
One person has the challenge of recreating a Christmas film picked at random and everyone else must guess what the film is. Give the person a set amount of time to get props to make it even harder – especially trying to work all this out over video call.
Festive Charades and Pictionary
They might be classics, but they can still be just as fun. Draw or act out anything festive and take your guesses!
MTV Cribs…the Festive Edition
Everyone shares a photo of their Christmas tree (without revealing themselves) and the best one wins a prize. You can guess each other’s Xmas trees – whose belongs to whom? Each Christmas tree is unique so it could be interesting to see how differently they’re decorated, whether they evoke someone’s personality or family traditions.
Scavenger/Treasure Hunt
Get your teams active and running around on a festive-themed Scavenger or Festive Hunt. The first person to come back with the item from the prompt will receive a point.

Nothing says Christmas like gingerbread. Order your team gingerbread house kits and challenge everyone to build their own gingerbread house. The most creative one wins!
The Great (Festive) Bake Off
We might have already had our Bake Off fix for the year but don’t let this stop you. Challenge your team to get creative and put their baking hats on to create the most festive bakes they can imagine. The best, completely show-stopping bakes can win a prize – and while you can’t indulge in the treats as a team, bakes can still be shared with those you live with.
Virtual Cocktail-making Classes
Organize virtual cocktail-making classes or make your own festive-themed menu. Everyone can then talk over their festive traditions and plans for the holidays with a (virtual) drink.
Christmas Quizzes
Sometimes simplicity is the best option – the holidays are the most wonderful time of the year for a quiz – and make the questions as festive as can be.
Create a Company Christmas Card
Capture a lasting memory of your online Xmas party by taking a screenshot (or photo) of everyone together. You can make things extra festive and ask everyone to wear their favourite Christmas jumper, or to dress up as Christmassy as they can – maybe as an elf or even Santa, if they’re feeling brave!

Wind down with a hot chocolate or coffee break. You can chat about plans for the holidays or fun and festive family traditions. If you want to turn it into a game, why not challenge everyone to make the most indulgent cup of hot chocolate possible? Extra points for whipped cream and lots and lots of sprinkles.
