Chocolate is a universal language most of us know and love. More of us are indulging in chocolate with an extra £260m being spent on chocolate for “self-treating at home” during the past six months. One of the main reasons for the massive jump in chocolate sales is because it’s the perfect comfort food, especially for working our way through the challenges of the pandemic and the more time we spend at home. There has been a shift from counting calories to treating ourselves as we weave through the everyday stresses of life.
