The challenge
UPS wanted to ensure maximum brand impact and efficacy of merchandise as a sales driving tool, protecting against loss of interest in merchandise held by the company and left over inventory that could not be sold.
What we did
Introduced a new component to their online merchandise programme – adding the latest on-trend seasonal items at low volumes every 6 months to add interest, excitement and drive sales. This enabled the UPS team to have desirable, high-impact items to close deals with potential UPS customers in addition to their existing range of basic core items which are used regularly and at high volumes across their offices and outlets.
The effects
Seasonal range items are more aligned with UPS campaigns and able to create more impact, without the risk of left over inventory.
