Challenge

The early days of Covid were dogged with issues with PPE. And we found ourselves in a position to help.

Our client, Apple, needed PPE safety kits for its European and UK employees, but wanted to ensure a close match with kits being despatched to their teams in North America.

But this was an extremely difficult time, with the double whammy of Covid restrictions and Brexit impacting supply chains. And of course, there were budgets and timescales to meet as well.

Action

Close partnership was key to our response. Navigating new Brexit and Covid related restrictions we sourced matching products and kits within budget and agreed deadlines, avoiding all BREXIT related customs delays and costs.

Impact

We helped create a consolidated communication and workflow across Apple departments and regions.

We achieved lower prices by combining orders to increase volumes, and sourcing from a range of EU and non-EU suppliers to ensure no unnecessary import duties, VAT, or taxes.

And ultimately, 2,200 Apple safety kits were delivered to multiple European and UK home and office addresses on spec, on time and on budget.
